I’m proud to present to you my first ever beat tape release ‘PULSAR BEATS’. I decided to produce this beat tape because as a drum synthesizer and drum instrument the Somasynths PULSAR 23 is unparalleled to any other drum instrument and stands completely on its own. Designed and developed by Vlad Kreimer, this machine just blows my mind with its modular sound design, CV looping and alien drum programming and shaping capabilities. I felt I needed to focus on just this one machine and make a beat tape with it. The beats are all recorded as live one takers, mixed live to stereo, with as little post – processing done as possible.
